Cassie's birthday

We ended up with a total of 27 children and 14 adults at Cassie's Birthday party.... it was truly "standing room only" while she was opening her presents.... I don't know how we got so many in the living room and kitchen... I don't think I got pics of them all but you get the idea.
I will either post more pics later or IF I can find a current freebie birthday kit I will make LOs... I have some birthday kits but I like using current freebies so i can spot light someone.... If you have any leads to them let me know!!!!

Mariners VS KC Royals

This is David Riske, Pitcher for the Royals.... He was sweet enough to autograph Cassie's game ticket for her and then pose for the pic... wish I would have thought about having her pose with him :(.
It felt as if the stadium was vibrating from all the boos when they walked Ichiro.....
Then they realized they really messed up when they walked him because the next guy up brought in 2 runners..... they had to have a conference at the pitcher's mound... what a shame, Seattle won 7 to 4.

I am not at all sure I even like this template... it looked better on paper when I drew it out.But I don't have another one made yet so I am posting it anyways.

No layout today. Going to Seattle for a Mariner's game tonight...We will be sitting behind 3rd base somewhere.....
and then the Birthday party tomorrow. Sure hope I can pull it all off!

Template 18 is based on a layout I did of my baby when she was a baby.... she wanted me to take a then and now photo.... so here it is. On the Paper layout I used eyelets and ribbons along with other things.

When I drew out the template I didn't know what pic I wanted to use... so I had to rotate the mat and photo. I really don't think I do this kit justice... It really is a fab kit.

Ask and you shall receive

After my post yesterday I thought I needed to add an update.
I spent a long time shoveling, shoveling, and shoveling. Taking a few breaks cuz my heart was pounding so hard....
at one point I was complaining to the Lord about people not keeping their word...and the fact that I felt I was the one paying the price for my landlord's dispute with the company that dug the darn hole in the first place....
I just asked Him to send someone to help me....
I went in to take a break and after a bit I heard my neighbor's truck pull up... he said I have to go do this and that "but when I get back I will bring my yard tractor up here and finish filling in the hole." I just about jumped up and down with joy!
So... even though I was so tired from trying to fill it in... it was such a nice day and I knew it is supposed to rain most of the week... I grabbed my lawn mower and started mowing the lawn... I did not get it finished but there is sure less to do now.

My whole point is this.... even when man is unfaithful to their word... The Father is faithful... not only to His word but to His Children! He didn't have to send someone to help me... my attitude was such (IT REALLY STANK) that I didn't think He would even if I asked Him... BUT HE DID!

The next sunbreak I will finish mowing.... and TRY not to complain about how big my yard is!

My handsome Grand-son. This was the first time I seen him with his hearing-aides... he had only had them a little while... and he was so joyful.

My BIG hole!

I just wanted to share a little bit about my life today... what I have been trying to get done so I can give about 30 kids a safe party on Saturday....

months ago the county came to dig in my yard... something like a perk test I think... because they are widening the road and needed to see if they were going to move the septic or put this house on sewer.... well, the hole I got is about 11 feet long, about 3 feet wide and a good 4-5 feet deep!

My Landlords upset the company doing it... legal issues.... so once the county said it could be filled in... well.... they wouldn't come back out and fill it in. Then My Landlord said they would come fill it is.... also someone else close to me said they would bring their tractor over and fill it in.... well.... here it sits... still a BIG hole in the ground.... so I am filling it in, one shovel full at a time.....

I found or discovered as I have been out there that one of my major pet-peeves is still people NOT doing what they say they WILL do! Don't people realize that their word is their bond? Don't they realize a reputation is based on what they do and NOT what they say? That keeping their words or NOT shows their character?
The Bible says somewhere we are supposed to keep our word even to our own hurt... can't remember where and I don't want to look it up right now.... the person close to me knows what I am doing and that it needs to get done for the party but did he say anything about coming to help.... NO!!!! He just told me not to give myself the "big one" (heart attack) while I was doing it!
I was sooooo ticked (to put it nicely) I just said I am soooo sick and tired of people not doing what they say they are going to do.... his comment was "are you talking about me?" well DUH!!!!!
IF you are NOT going to do something don't say you are!

Enough complaining.... but I just had to get this off my chest!!!! Now... back out to throw more shovel fulls of dirt in the hole!

For those of you that have asked... Templates 7 and 8 are use bonus templates.... you need to actually make a LO and either email me the link to that Lo or send me a copy of it and state which one you would like.

If you want both then you need to do two layouts.

Hope that clears things up a bit.

It is really nice here right now so I am headed back outside to work... trying to get ready for my "baby's" birthday party Saturday... My baby is gonna be 10..... boy do I feel OLD!!! Hey... wait a minute... I AM OLD!!!!!
